Summarise websites
If you want to know whether the information you are looking for can be found on a website without reading the entire text, we have the following three tips for you:

ChatGPT Search
In ChatGPT you can use the search function to access websites and have them summarised. If you would like to know specific information about a website, please include this directly in your enquiry.

Perplexity
Perplexity AI is a conversation-based search engine that uses large language models (LLMs) to answer queries. It was founded in 2022 and generates answers based on the web sources used. Unlike traditional search engines, Perplexity provides concise, AI-generated answers with direct references, making information searches more efficient.

Prompt for summarising key content:

Analyse the page and extract the most important content, main arguments and central statements in a concise summary. Concentrate on presenting the core statements clearly and comprehensibly, without unnecessary details or academic explanations. The summary should summarise the essential information in a few sentences and reflect the overall content of the page. Make sure to ignore irrelevant passages and only emphasise the really informative sections.

Prompt for the search for a specific topic:

Find specific information about [insert topic] on the page. Search through the text to identify only the sections that are relevant to this topic. Summarise the relevant content concisely and answer the following questions: Is there specific information on this topic? What important details or findings are mentioned? If the page does not provide specific information, mention this clearly to avoid unnecessary reading. Prioritise content that is practical, directly applicable or particularly relevant to the niche you are looking for.
